The Lazy, Hazy, Gays of Summer: QAF Cast

1, 2, 3, 4!!!

Here is that gorgeous cast of arguably the most fun show on television!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com You love to hate to love him! Brian Kinney is a beautiful, rich, successful prick who grates on my nerves, but tugs on my heart. He's a jerk who will jerk you around (or off depending on your sex). He is currently in a relationship with Justin Taylor, and best friend to Michael Novotny. He has a baby boy with Lindsay.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com Justin Taylor is a brat rolled in innocence and fluff. He is starting to come into his own as a man and really just beginning to see the state of the world. He is hopelessly and endlessly devoted to Brian Kinney. He has a best friend named Daphne who we will probably never hear/see ever again, a newly activist mom and unaccepting Dad (again, they'll probably never be mentioned). He is currently in Hollywood working on making the comic book Michael and he collaborated on (Rage) into a movie.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com Michael Novotny is everyone's best friend. The everlasting gardener in a field full of flowers, Michael rarely takes time to work on him. He is currently embroiled in a nasty custody case for his foster son Hunter (an HIV positive ex hustler), and trying to gel into a relationship with his husband Ben (they were married in Canada) who is also HIV positive.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com Ben Bruckner is an openly gay professor at a local college. He wrote a horrible book that almost made broke him and Michael up, and had a nasty stint with steroids. Through it all he has managed to remain absolutely dreamy. I mean the man is hot! He is so fine! He can do anything and I will forgive it just because he had the decency to grace my screen. You have been warned. Ben is also HIV positive, and raising a son with his husband, Michael Novotny.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com Emmett Honeycutt is from a little sleepy town in MiSSiSSiPPi. He is just the best thing since sliced bread, and anything involving him (unless it also involved Schickles Pickles) is wonderful and touching. He is the black woman in the group. The one that says what we all scream to the tv when crazy stuff is going on. I love him. He is best friends with Ted, and they were briefly lovers until Ted's drug addiction broke them up with nasty and season long consequences.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com Ted Schmidt is so forgettable. I almost forgot to write a blurb about him. He is the achingly normal guy that despite some of the best acted story lines of the series (I didn't say they were good, just well acted) still can't make me care about him at all. He used to be in love with Michael Novotny, but I guess the writers forgot about that. He, well, maybe I'll add more later, but at this point? Meh.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com Lindsay's a lesbian. She and Mel have been known as Brian's lesbians, and I like that so I think I'll keep it (thanks Camper!). Lindsay was also known as St. Lindsay for all the crap she would take during the first few seasons, but she's been kind of sucking (literally?) lately so that may be up for revision. She is an art dealer, and she is raising a son that she had with Brian, and a daughter that her wife, Melanie, had with Michael. She and Melanie, despite almost ten years of being together, are currently separated due to Lindsay's heterosexual escapade.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com Ahh, Melanie Marcus. I don't know what to say about the girl. She gets on my last nerves, but I like her. She's so stubborn and head strong and her and Lindsay worked together because Lindsay evened her out, but now she's currently on her own. She is a lawyer, and a new mother to a baby girl she had with Michael Novotny.

Image hosted by Photobucket.comDebbie Grassi Novotny is Michael's supportive to the point of annoyance mother. She has the best intentions in the world, the first being that her son is happy despite the world. Debbie has been dealt some harsh blows, the first being the death of her little brother Vic (which, don't even get me started on the wrongness of killing him off) to AIDS. She has found some peace, and love in the surly yet amenable Detective Horvath.

Image hosted by Photobucket.comOkay, so Ryan Seacrest isn't exactly a member of the cast, but he should be so there!
